Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in India

The Mixed Martial Arts industry in India is still in its early stages. Traditional Martial Arts like Karate and Taekwondo have been around in India for a very long time. India also a rich culture in Kushti (wrestling).  However, the potential of the MMA industry in the country is still largely untapped and has tremendous potential.

Why learn MMA?

Martial Arts can give you the confidence you need to enjoy your life to the fullest. They are way to be at ease with yourself and go through life with comfort and ease makes you better in every sphere of life whether it be work, a relationship or a stressful day.

Martial Arts teach you to respect other individuals, irrespective of their strength or size, specially Gracie Jiu Jitsu.

Jiu-jitsu is a gentle art. It is the art of intelligence over brute strength. It is the art where a small person is going to prove to you, regardless of you’re strength and anger, you’re going to have to accept defeat.

After all, if size were everything the elephant would be the kind of the jungle.

Martial Arts give you the feeling of being unbeatable. This confidence gives one the ability to lose his or her insecurities. Once you lose your insecurities you are able to open your mind up more and be better at everything you do.

The Arts also teach you that if the right technique is intelligently applied, anything can be achieved.

Once you learn to transcend this aspect of the arts, everyday life becomes easy.
